Rye Elementary School has been welcoming children and their families for over 50 years. Located in the Greenhorn Valley of Southern Colorado, Rye sits just outside the San Isabel National Forest where the majority of fourteen thousand foot peaks in Colorado are located. Rye offers students an opportunity to excel in an environment that encourages creativity, responsibility and community. Rye Elementary School is a part of Pueblo County School District 70.

Rye Elementary School, in partnership with its children, families, community, and Pueblo County School District 70, is committed to providing quality instruction in a safe and positive environment, fostering social, emotional, and academic development for all students while striving for academic excellence.
Parent and Community Support
Rye enjoys vigorous parent and community support. Parents and community members are actively encouraged to volunteer in our classrooms. We believe that it does indeed take a village to raise our children and we embrace the support we receive from the parents and other community members.
